Why nonprofit & faith teams work with usWhat matters in nonprofit & faith.

01

Built around the ask

Films planned for the moment they will play, whether that is a gala, a donor meeting or a year-end email.

02

Care with every story

Families, clients and congregations filmed with consent, privacy and dignity first, by a small crew.

03

Built to move donors

Every film is planned around your ask, so it gets people to give. One well-planned shoot can deliver the gala film, appeal cuts and photos together.

Full portfolio

Ronald McDonald House Dallas asked for a capital campaign film that puts donors in the room with the families the new house will serve.

We planned the story with the development team, filmed families and staff with care for their privacy, and cut a full film for the campaign launch plus shorter versions for donor meetings and social. Produced in partnership with Pierpont Communications.

The result: Runs on YouTube and in donor meetings.

Capitol Commission asked for a film that explains its ministry to lawmakers and the people who support it.

We spent time at the Texas State Capitol during the legislative session: at Senate and House Bible studies, in the halls and in offices. We interviewed senators and representatives from both parties and every corner of the state. The team wanted everyone in the film, down to the parking attendant, because the ministry is for everyone at the Capitol. We cut a three-minute film and a longer version for sharing the ministry with supporters.

Converge asked for a film that captures its grand opening and the people closest to the work.

We filmed the grand opening and the people behind the mission, and cut a short film the organization could share with supporters. A milestone like that only happens once, so we made sure every big moment was captured.

Best Buddies asked for a highlight film that carries the energy of its gala to everyone who wasn't in the room.

We covered the night from the stage to the dance floor: the energy of the people giving, and the lives the program changes. The highlight film lets supporters who weren't in the room feel what the night was about.

Kids Matter asked for a video that captures the energy of its charity ball and gets people excited for the next one.

We covered the night from arrivals to the last song: guest interviews, the room, the details and the music. The branding video carries the energy of the ball to social and builds excitement for next year.

Big Thought asked for content for the announcement of Erin Offord as CEO, marking the hand-off from a longtime leader.

We filmed the transition in the room, with the outgoing CEO there to pass the torch, and interviewed Erin about her vision for the future and what Big Thought has meant to her. The video was made to go out with the press announcement.

"Susie is a first class photographer! Not only is she professional and talented, but she is kind and knows how to work with people and get them to smile and open up during a photoshoot. … I'd hire her again in a heartbeat."

How it worksSimple and predictable.

  1. 01

    Discovery & Quote

A short call about the campaign, the ask and the event date, then a clear quote.

  2. 02

    Booking & Pre-Production

We plan the story with your development team, line up the families, staff and donors to interview, and handle consent with care.

  3. 03

    Day of Production

Interviews and footage captured with care for the people sharing their stories and as little disruption to your programs as possible.

  4. 04

    Post Production

Edited to move donors, with licensed music and two rounds of revisions, finished in time for the event or launch.

  5. 05

    File Delivery & Completion

The full film plus shorter versions for donor meetings, the gala screen, email and social.

  6. 06

    Deployed & Follow-Up

We want to know what it raised, so we follow up after the event or campaign.

Nonprofit & Faith questionsFAQ

What videos do nonprofits need most?

Usually three: a story film for the gala or appeal, an impact video that shows what gifts accomplish, and short clips for social and email. One well-planned shoot can produce all three.

Do you work with churches and faith-based organizations?

Yes. Capital campaigns, ministry stories, events and staff photography for churches and faith-based organizations are a natural fit for how we work.

How do you protect the privacy of the people we serve?

People appear only with their consent, we plan around anyone who prefers not to be filmed, and the organization reviews every edit before it is shared.
